Product Details

“What happens when a racing champ makes a sports car?” When two of the most famous in names in American automotive history come together great things happen the Shelby Mustang is a high performance variant of the Ford Mustang which was built by Shelby from 1965 to 1968, and from 1969 to 1970 by Ford. The GTs lost their Cobra tag for 1969 and once again were marketed simply as Shelby GT 350 and Shelby GT 500. The GT 350 and GT 500 for the 1969 model year received an extensive face lift, the body alone increasing in length by 4 inches (100 mm). Ford was involved with design and style decisions, with Shelby having little input. The GT 350 was now equipped with a 351 Windsor, sort of a mid-sized V-8 pumping out 290 horsepower. This extremely clean 1969 Shelby Mustang GT350 Sportsroof, comes in the brilliant Candy Apple Red. It is a beautiful example of how a restoration should be done. Driving the beast is according to the owner the original matching V8 351 Windsor engine with ram air, and a 4-speed wide ratio manual transmission you could be shifting past everyone. Newer tires and looks to be original wheels will keep this beautiful iconic Mustang rolling, and in stunning Candy Apple Red with white accents it looks like you are in a Ford showroom ready to drive out. From the driver's seat you will continue the time warp with everything inside from the wood grain dash and accents, and unmistakable Black interior to the Shelby steering wheel and 5-point harness this has been kept to appear just like when it rolled out of the Dearborn plant. When it comes to vehicles that are as iconic and well-kept as this Boss, just come on in and take a look so you can hit the cruises!
