The Advance Design trucks rolled out by GM were radically different in 1947 than pre- WWII pickups. Before this time, pickups produced were essentially glued on flat beds to whatever was produced. GM made a truck that was designed for more than just having a place to put stuff. It was a full on new version of automobile and sales took off. This is a fresh restoration of an Amercian classic restored close to original specifications. It is powered by a 216ci inline 6 cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission that are believed to be original to the truck. This pickup is in excellent condition and shows a beautiful color combination of Victory Red paint and dark saddle leather interior. It also features an OEM looking AM/FM radio, new radiator, new wheels & tires, new hub caps with classic appearance, 6-volt battery, wood-lined bed, and more! This is a great example of one of the most popular truck styles in the classic market!
