What we are offering here is not your ordinary run of the mill 1989 GMC pickup. For starters it has a 1990 front clip that most of you have already noticed. We will do our best at describing this Radical build, however if you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to ask. In addition, this truck is priced to sell. Starting with the exterior, it was completely stripped, blocked and primer filled. Then three coats of base blue before the five coats of BASF Rainbow Extreme finished off with two coats of clear. This truck was painted in 1997 at a enormous cost. The Rainbow extreme alone was $1800 a quart and 1 ½ gallons were used. There are over thirteen different color changes and everything in between. After all these years it is very impressive and held up extremely well. There is also a matching fiberglass topper that locks. The bed of the truck is carpeted and lexan to expose the frame and rear end. This is also where the fuel cell is located. The interior of the car is equipped with several Billet accessories, Katsking bucket seats, a Pioneer sound system with CD changer and 2 massive velux Pioneer speakers. All of the gauges are mechanical with the computer being removed from the car. This truck is also equipped with ice cold air for pure enjoyment. The drivetrain is where things get crazy. The motor was initially built by Drag Motors in 1985 and then completely rebuilt in 2004. It is a blown 468 Cubic Inch that has been balanced and blueprinted. It has polished steel crank, full roller cam, linebored to 230 over. The carbs are a set of modified Holley double pumpers to a 925 dual feed set up. It has a March Pulley system, MSD , Marine fuel intercooler, oil cooler and trans cooler and much much more. The Transmission is a ATI funny car 400-3 speed, 3500 Stall and is a reverse gear pattern. The rear end in a Winters quick change 4:56 posi with modified drums. It has a BEECOOL cooling system with dual electronic fans. The chassis is a mix of Styles and Concepts drop front springs and shocks while the rear is a Art Morrison 4 link whole shot which is adjustable from full drag to streetable. The custom driveshaft is caged and a custom 4” exhaust is fitted nicely as well.
