1972 was the last year of the popular A-body 2nd generation of Chevelle's that started in 1968. These awesome rear-wheel drive muscle cars shared the same platform as the Oldsmobile 442, Pontiac GTO , and Buick Gran Sport. While the Chevelle had many forms including coupes, sedans, and even station wagons, the 2-door convertible with the top down on a nice day is the perfect way to enjoy GM's greatest platform from the muscle car era. This Chevelle Malibu Convertible is the product of a restoration starting in 2011. Pictures show proof the owners took an already solid Oregon Chevelle and went over the every detail with a fine eye for intricacies. They stripped it to bare metal and painted it in Classic Copper Metallic with a clear coat. It also received new tires, rims, new convertible top, new battery, new starter, new wiring, work on the engine, and work on the instrument cluster. This car is a very good, comfortable driving car with power steering and power brakes. This car will not disappoint in one of the most popular body styles of all time. This is top down muscle car nostalgic cruising at its best.
