Product Details

This is one of 31 factory built 944 Cup Cars originally constructed for the Rothmans Challenge Series in Canada. Drivers in that series included the likes of Scott Goodyear, Paul Tracy, and Ron Fellows. The late Joe Hrymack imported this race car in 2003 and spared no expense in improving the car's performance. Well known Porsche Specialist, Bodymotion (New Jersey), completely went through the engine to build it to maximum capacity. After Hrymack passed away in 2011, the car was owned by a non-racer who brought the car back to Bodymotion in 2012 to be refreshed. Careful examination of the vehicle shows the great care in all the small details. Over $30,000 was used to bring this vehicle up to the National Champion race car featuring sodium filled valves, knife edge crankshaft, and high compression JE pistons. This car is a really great opportunity for the collector or track enthusiast. Not only does it have a very cool racing history, this isn't some glued together track car. This is a rare Porsche factory build of an awesome 944. Please note that the odometer reads 122,174 kilometers which equals 75,915 miles. The car has been stored all winter.
