Formerly used on a high-performance, V8-powered variant of the F-150, the Lightning nameplate was revived for the 2022 model year for Ford's first series-produced electric truck. Every member of the line-up offers dual electric motors for through-the-road four-wheel drive, but buyers have two battery packs to choose from and driving range varies accordingly. Production continues today. Power comes from a pair of electric motors, which draw electricity from a 98-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack to zap the four wheels with 452 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque. The EPA gave this version of the F-150 Lightning a maximum driving range rating of 230 miles.
