Perhaps the most beloved body style ever produced for the 911 by Porsche was the Carrera of the 80's. Although sharing many of the visual cues of the generation prior SC's, the Carrera cars were much more well-appointed for driver comfort as well as the added performance of the now proven 3.2 liter flat six engine all while preserving the wildly popular lines of the car and its proven timeless design. This highly optioned 1985 911 was purchased new at Bill Cook Porsche Audi of Farmington Hills, MI on July 3, 1985 finished in desirable Prussian Blue metallic paint over blue all leather interior. Other options include: Steering wheel with raised hub, Monterey digital cassette Radio, alarm system and electric sunroof. The car changed hands on March 31, 1988 to its second owner with 13681 miles and the third owner acquired the car with approximately 40, 000 miles in 1991, the car at that time had just a little over 40,000 miles on the odometer the car remained with the third owner until our recent acquisition. Today at 88443 miles, the car remains in quite lovely original condition with some expected stone chips and marks in the expected areas of the car. The interior remains in very good condition remaining very clean in all areas, again showing some expected patina in typical areas including the drivers bolster. The 3.2 liter air cooled engine runs extremely strong, the transmission shifts great, brakes stop straight and true and the suspension is tight. Everything works but the A/C does not blow cold.
