Ford began production of its Bronco in 1966. These trucks were built to compete directly with international Harvester and Jeep. Ford, however, added utility to the mix. Bronco's drivability and off road capability made them useful not only at the ranch or off road, but also in town and over the Highway. Their design and capabilities instantly made them a favorite among of off road enthusiasts and to this day, remains coveted vehicle among the 4X4 community and collectors around the Globe. 1976 was a good year for the Bronco. It marked the first year for disc brakes, upgraded differentials Dana 44 Front, 9 inch rear form the factory, front and rear sway bars, etc. The 1976 Bronco offered here went through a complete cosmetic and mechanical restoration approximately 10 years ago and remained as part of a private collection since. It is finished in Jade Green Metallic paint over white interior. The interior features new seat upholstery, original dash paint and gauges, under-dash air conditioning unit, aftermarket stereo and sound system, original steering wheel, original differential shifter, new door panels, etc. Mechanically the everything has been rebuilt, improved and refurbished. It features power brakes, power steering, professionally rebuilt 302 V8, electronic ignition, up graded wires, factory air conditioning, re-cored air conditioner, new wires, headers, flow master exhaust, all new bushings, shocks with a mild suspension lift, new 15 inch wheels with new meaty 3 x 12.5 tires, automatic transmission, factory 9 inch rear end and factory dana 44 front axle. The exterior paint is excellent, frame and underside very very clean and it also features custom front bumper, good glass, detailed engine and completely removable hard top for summer cruising. The Ford Bronco built its reputation on reliability, utility and toughness. They have fallen into favor among enthusiasts and collectors worldwide. Early Ford Broncos have been the choice of 4X4 enthusiasts since the mid 60's.
