Product Details

The second generation Barracuda was what the originals should have been right from the start, three years earlier. The Plymouth Barracuda is a two-door car that was manufactured by Plymouth from the 1964 to 1974 model years. The second-generation 1967 to 1969 Barracuda, though still Valiant-based, was heavily redesigned. Second-generation A-body cars were available in fastback, notchback, and convertible versions. This rotisserie restored MOPAR is dressed in Viper yellow and looks great. It also received a new top at the time of restoration. As you can see in the photos, the underside of the car looks as good as the topside, as it was painted on a rotisserie. It is not a numbers matching car and was given a 383 v8 dated from 1968. The engine was just rebuilt and has less than 500 miles on it. The engine was torn down and received a 1010 crank, new cam and cam bearings. This Barracuda sounds great and runs smoothly. The transmission has a rebuilt 18 spline Hemi 4 speed. It also has a Sure Grip 489 housing 8 and 3/4 with 3.23 gears. It features front disc brakes rally wheels. The carpet is new and the front seats are newly covered, with the rear seat remaining original. A new gas tank and aluminum 4 strand 22 inch radiator were also installed. This is an outstanding example of American muscle and is sure to please.
