Documentation provided indicates that this Z28 was purchased new at Williams Motors Inc. of Scottsdale, AZ and delivered September 15, 1970 dressed in 26-26 Mulsanne Blue exterior paint with signature black stripes over rare blue vinyl interior. Options included: Soft Ray Tinted Glass, Floor Mats Front and Rear, Door Edge Guard, Center Console, Posi-Traction Rear Axle with 4.11 gears, power Brakes, M22 4-Speed Manual Transmission, Special Instrumentation Package, AM FM Radio, and Z28 Special Performance Equipment. Since, the car spent the majority of its life in the desert southwest remaining completely intact until the car was treated to a complete, frame off, no expense spared restoration with huge attention to detail using factory original and or NOS parts where needed to bring the car to a top self level. The car is powered by its 350 LT1 spec engine featuring a correct GM replacement block retaining all date code correct or original numbers matching components including heads, carburetor, intake manifold, etc. The engine and engine bay are completely detailed using all correct hoses, belts, wiring, hose clamps, hardware etc. The power is transferred through its original numbers matching M22 transmission and 4.11 posi-traction rear end. The car is believed to retain its original sheet metal and floors and has been painstakingly restored to an extreme level. The Mulsanne Blue exterior paint and black stripes shows fabulous in all areas, the underside is highly detailed, finished in correct red oxide primer and executed to perfection. The interior remains all factory correct and restored as new in all area.
