At the turn of the key, instantly you know this is not your typical Austin America. This highly modified and purpose built Austin is in remarkable condition both inside and out, but has a long list of modifications that allow this car to reach top speeds. This special Austin started as a clean, rust free setup with only 51k miles and was taken to MiniTec in Royston GA where it received their upgrade kit MTAA which includes; new front and rear sub frames that allow this setup to bolt on with zero exterior body modifications and minimal intrusion on engine bay. Most impressive aspect is the Japanese spec VTEC B18C Type R engine that is matted to a 5 speed manual Integra transmission with Limited Slip Differential. This setup was tested extensively and now produces over 220HP and is a hoot to drive and experience first-hand. Only weighing 1826lbs, this car is wicked fast and very tight. With the new sub frames it also received the proper axle shafts, brackets, hardware, shock bars, shock tower pockets, and drill spindles. Further this car received a full coil over suspension, 14in VTO Performance wheels with new Yokohama tires, Summit Racing Tach Gauge, front fog lights, Pioneer Stereo with CD, and Spectre cold air intake and filter. Original aspects of this car are still in place in numerous areas, such as; most of interior, sheet metal, bumpers, grill, door panels, headliner, and gauge cluster. As you can tell this is not your average Austin and one that is certain to entice the individual that wants something very different and unique. This vehicle performs extremely nice and goes into all forward gears and reverse with ease and gauges and electrical work properly. The handmade Honda engine is not your crate style engine, but one that was hand built and demands the respect of any enthusiast. With very few of these left on the open market and most likely none in this condition or setup, we feel the demand and upside is endless for the next owner.
