The MGTD was the first MG target for the US market. The TD was the first model to offer left hand drive, other features include a stronger completely designed chassis, wider body, rack and pinion steering, and more stylish fenders. The TD indeed found a market inside the boarders of the U.S. and to this day are beloved by many. The MG TD delivers a pure 1950s open air British driving experience. Its mechanicals are robust and mostly easy to source, which makes ownership relatively straightforward. To this day, the TD is regarded highly among British motoring enthusiasts. Highly restored examples such as this are few and far between. A must consideration for any collection.
