The MGTD was the first MG target for the US market. The TD was the first model to offer left hand drive, other features include a stronger completely designed chassis, wider body, rack and pinion steering, and more stylish fenders. The TD indeed found a market inside the boarders of the U.S. and to this day are beloved by many. The MG TD delivers a pure 1950s open air British driving experience. Its mechanicals are robust and mostly easy to source, which makes ownership relatively straightforward. To this day, the TD is regarded highly among British motoring enthusiasts. Highly restored examples such as this are few and far between. A must consideration for any collection. From top to bottom, this vehicle is in an excellent condition showing no clear signs of wear or tear and runs with the best of them through its believed to be original power-plant! Having come from the warmer side of the world, California, this time capsule shows excellently with its British Racing Green exterior, beautiful lines as straight as you would hope for and sharp wheels true to its era. The mechanicals are all very much stock featuring its standard 1250cc inline four cylinder engine mated to a smooth shifting 4-speed manual. This vehicle has a like-new interior with all the correct parts and pieces, its dash is in great condition with gauges and knobs just the same, the top is also in a like-new condition making this a real collectible waiting to be enjoyed by its next owner. With an owner manual as well as the window panels included in the sale, this is as complete as they come!
