Many people know the Caprice name that was a staple among the automotive Industry for almost thirty years. In the early years it was known as a luxury muscle car and later on known for the most sought after police vehicle of all time according to most officers of that generation. However, in 1996 as the front engine V8, rear drive market was taking hit the nameplate and platform that was once the Caprice was no longer. In 2011 the Caprice nameplate returned to the North American market but unfortunately was not available to the public. It was available for Police use only and lucky for the officers of the nation it was built as a Front engine V8 with rear wheel drive and it was more powerful than ever. They were a direct import from GM's Australian subsidiary, Holden. So, essentially this car is a Holden Caprice. And lucky for us we are very pleased to present the only Caprice that was sold directly by GM to a private entity. It was the company that was outfitting the police cars with all of the radio and light equipment. They used it for display but the only hole that was drilled was for the spotlight. This car is spotless and fast. Did I mention it was fast? This is a low mileage example that is absolute sleeper. It also has a full set of Winter tires if you so desire.
