1967 was the first re-design of the original model and the first generation that came out in 1964 ½. The designers were drawing up a larger version even as the original smaller design was achieving much success. The car increased in size and some other changes came in the way of trim changes both interior and on the exterior. Ford was also starting to play with different and larger engine configurations. This highly desirable convertible we are offering here comes out of only two long-term owners and was originally purchased by the Ford dealer principle in 1967. This car has been extremely well maintained with a restoration being performed 10 years ago. The interior is highly original and still shows very well. The exterior color is a non-factory color that is in excellent condition. A new top was added in the last year and this car does not leak or smoke anything. This is a beautiful turn-key automobile that is ready to be enjoyed and easily shown.
