Pre- WWII cars have nothing to envy when it comes to style. Their flowing fenders, aggressive lines, stand out lights, and waterfall grills makes one want to turn the key and cruise down any road in front of it. However, their ride qualities feel like it was made before WWII and become a favorite for street rods. Modern technology and personal custom touches bring these steel beasts in to the 21st century with great fanfare and popularity. This '38 Chevy street rod is in excellent condition with a custom professional build that started in 2000. There is a 4” chop to the roof, body shortened 4”, and it is wider 4” with the flares. It started with an all steel quality '38 body with added fiberglass fenders and running boards. It's powered by a 383 stroker V8 paired with a 350 turbo automatic transmission with a shift kit. It features Weld aluminum wheels (custom made matching steering wheel), Jaguar XJ rear end, Camaro front sub-frame, independent front & rear suspension, Am/FM radio, custom gauges, door poppers with keyless entry, and a custom interior. This street rod cruises up and down the street very well and is a lot of fun to drive. The odometer shows the low miles since the build.
