The debut of a new model for any manufacturer is a big deal, but for Porsche this was a big game changer for the company and for the sports car industry. The Porsche 911 has been the longest production vehicle in existence that has retained the name and the authentic body style from the first generation. With the all new 911SC coming to market, it was a significant improvement over it processor. With an upgraded 3.0L that proved to be very dependable and stronger for the additional weight that was added to add some extra creature comforts for the driver and passengers. This highly original car features just 94 595 miles since new and is finished in Grand Prix White its rare and original Red / Tartan Interior. The interior remains original featuring a near perfect dash, excellent door pockets and panels, the original tartan seats and trim show minor wear and fade due to age but overall remain excellent along with the carpers and rear package tray. The car features factory air, the compressor and under dash unit work properly and blows cool, the system does need to be charged. The original Blaupunkt radio works properly. The exterior presents very nice as well showing some normal chips and wear in the paint due to age and use, the exterior trim is excellent. The original Fuchs wheels are excellent the tires still retain meaty tread. Other highlights include pop off valve conversion, fog lights and a full set of factory tools. Mechanically, the car runs out well, shifts excellent and handles like a 911. It is no secret that the demand and values for Air Cooled 911 Porsches remain on the rise as there timeless design, overall reliability and the unique driver feel that no other car can offer drives the demand.
