Product Details

Built for just over 30 years, the Bel Air was a full-size car built by GM. It featured various designs, trim levels and engine options until its demise in 1981. Although the Tri-Five Chevrolets or the second generation of Bel-air were and still are the most sought after, all of the Bel Air line up was a huge success for GM. By 1962 they were already in their fifth generation of design and for the 1961 model everything was changed including sheet metal. For 1962 all new sheet metal again except for the door panels were change and length was slightly increased to 209.6 inches. This exceptionally restored 1962 Bel Air retains excellent trim and bright work with some modern features including a 350 Cubic Inch engine that has been bored to a 383. There is modern A/C that blows cold, a aluminum radiator with aux fan. The paint on this car is very attractive that shows very well. We especially like the original style red interior. Everything works as it should and can be purchased at a fraction of the cost of building it your self. This car has covered many miles for club events and shows and performs very well. There is a mountain of paperwork from the build that comes with the car.
