Product Details

We are pleased to offer Pontiac's upscale version of the “Pony” car. This 1968 Firebird 350 HO presents itself in very straight forward condition. It features its original numbers matching WK 350 / 320 horsepower engine mated to its original numbers matching 4-speed transmission. Originally delivered in Mayfair Maize exterior paint, HO stripe delete, the car now features one older repaint in Solar Red over black “custom” interior and black vinyl top. Other options include Rally II Wheels, HO Stripe Delete, Push Button Radio and F70 x 14 Wide Oval tires. The car also features a hood tachometer. 68 Firebirds were true Pony cars. Light, nimble and provided plenty of power with little frills. The 68 firebird offered here is a very straight forward example and sits in very good condition. The older Solar Red paint still shows very good providing plenty of gloss, the vinyl top is excellent and the interior is very clean as well. The car still features its original underside which is untouched and rust free. Mechanically the car is excellent, provides plenty of power and proves to be a car that can be driven on a daily basis. Early Firebirds are desirable cars as they were built to represent Pontiac's commitment to performance during changing times. A straight forward example such as this demands attention.
