Product Details

It was a exciting year for General Motors offering its first new design after WWII . The Deluxe was a trim-line offered by Chevrolet marketed from 1941-1952, it was also the sales leader fro the marque during the 1940's. The original series was from 1941-1948 and some of the same things fell in to place for the 49-52 models for the sole reason that along with people, the manufacturers were just getting back on their feet after the war. With the Deluxe Styline sedan being the cheapest at $1492.00 the Convertible cost over $2200.00 which was a pretty big upswing for a lot of people at that time. Out of a over a Million cars produced only 32,000 were convertibles. This wonderful car we are offering is a absolute delight to drive. It starts on a dime, does not smoke and goes down the road perfectly. It was owned by a museum for a number of years before the current family purchased it several years ago. The car has had routine maintenance with receipts, new tires and brakes. Everything is in operational order and the top is in good condition. This is a excellent opportunity to own a piece of history.
