International Harvester introduced a new line of trucks, the R Series in 1953, included in this series was the Travelall. The Travelall was a long wheelbase panel truck equipped with side windows and either two or three rows of passenger seats. Harverster's sport utility vehicle series ran from 1953 to 1975 spanning 4 design generations. The Travelall clearly set the stage for modern full sized SUV's as we know them today. The truck features its original California blue plates, and has been treated to a ground up style restoration on an extremely original vehicle. It is finished in Avocado Green over black / gray interior. The Interior remains in stock configuration and features new custom carpet, new seat upholstery as well as refinished painted surfaces. It is powered by its optional 345 cubic inch V8 engine. It is optioned with 4 speed, 4X4, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tow Package, original fold down and tumble rear seat, and features upgraded DUI distributor, full length headers, dual flowmaster exhaust, lift kit with dual shock set up, Dana front and rear, Rockcrawler Rims with meaty BF Goodrich 35x12.50x17 KM2 mud terrains, upgraded JVC CD player, mini tach and privacy tint all around. This is a rare truck that turns heads all day. Cruise the beach, crawl the mountains or go for ice cream. This truck is mechanically sorted and will do it all.
