Product Details

Designed by Harley Earl, who would go onto being known as one of the key people behind the Corvette in the 50s, designed the Series 62 with a low sleek “torpedo” style that proved to be a hit as sales more than quadrupled. This car, Lucille as she's known, features her numbers matching 346ci 135hp V8 with a 3-speed column shift manual transmission and shows just over 32,000 miles on the clock. The Series 62 was the entry level Cadillac at the time and although luxurious, it was relatively spartan with no power options. This vintage Cadillac is a very good driver quality car as it operates flawlessly with its rebuilt motor and carb. The original color is Code-60 Rivermist Gray but looks presentable in its current dark blue hue over a light blue interior. It is unclear how many owners it's had exactly but from the documentation, it is revealed that it originated in Colorado and then spent time in Kansas and Texas before coming to Michigan in 2004. Include with the car is a '41 Cadillac shop manual, operator's manual, a binder full of documentation such as the build sheet and original title, a Shell map of Nevada and Utah, and a Gulf map of Illinois and Iowa. Great opportunity presented her to acquire a wonderfully historic Cadillac.
