Porsche created its newest luxury GT car from 1978 to 1995 and was aptly named 928 as the successor of the well-known 911. The 928 combined some of the most important aspects of design and performance and was refined in steering, comfort and power. This was an attempt to open up the market to those looking for more luxury as their 911 seemed to be much more preferred by those only focused on performance as it was a bit more quirky in drivability and certainly more compact. The S4 variant was released as a 1987 model when it first appeared and hosted a list of upgrades including an updated version of their 5.0L engine with a larger torque converter in the automatic transmissions. There was also a fairly significant amount of styling updates which gave the car a cleaner more sleek appearance which grew its popularity across the world. With an original sticker price of $80,312, the value is clear to see but only more so ensured with the great list of routine maintenance performed through its current owner. This vehicle has seen thousands spent on ensuring this vehicle looked and felt as it did when it was first purchased and with its timing belt, water pump, intake refreshed, belt and hoses replaced, crank main seal, the list goes on and on! This vehicle has been re-upholstered in a classic Cashmere Beige for the front seats, the tires are fresh, wheels have been newly powder-coated, windshield was replaced and shows to be a great runner with no easily visible leaks or issues. The exterior shows just as well as the service history and sports a great set of lines and all the Porsche design you could ask for.
