Product Details

We are pleased to present this 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible for purchase. The 2nd generation Corvettes made a splash with their 1st year of production in 1963. The stingray was born, and not only had a design but also had several updates for improved performance. Under the direction of Bill Mitchell, they used wind tunnel testing to provide the best aerodynamics while keeping an ahead of the times style. The result nearly doubled sales, and the Corvette never looked back. This Corvette is the result of a complete nut & bolt restoration that was finished in 2008. The engine is a fully rebuilt 327 cu in V8 that produces 350 horsepower that was originally in a 1965 Corvette. The transmission is also out of a 1965 Corvette and is a Muncie M21 4-speed. The rear end is a 4:11 gear ratio. There is also a manual carburetor, new seats, electronic ignition, and new paint. Every detail of this car was completely gone through to bring this vehicle up to C2 generation showroom quality. The engine has been blueprinted and balanced. You can use regular gasoline without any additives. There have only been about 1,100 miles since the restoration.
