When Ford introduced the Ford Mustang in 1964 and instant love affair with the American Pony Car was born. The mustang was smaller, lighter, and more nimble that any American manufacturer had produced thus far. This coupled with its fresh design, the Ford Mustang became a must have among the American public. 1967 marked a pivotal year for the Mustang, as this was the first time since the first generation made its debut that vast changes were made to the Mustang. Making it larger and having many more engine options than before. It also eliminated some things that did not make sense. The 1968 was just the same and by this point, Ford had found the next best thing and had very little for competition comparatively. This model has seen only two owners including the current which has owned it for well over half its life and cared for and restored it since. With a wonderful blue exterior being added to it, a great set of wheels, chrome bumpers in excellent condition and what is believed to be all original sheet metal, there isn't a bad angle of this fine ride. The engine is replaced with the ever-popular 302 V8 engine which has a set of 60's era GT heads and many internal component upgrades, the C4 automatic transmission is in good working order, the suspension has been replace both back and front with a cobra set, aluminum radiator has been added and a full brake job completed recently adding disc brakes to the front and an all new set of calipers, pads and rotors as well to ensure this is a stand-up and ready to run car for its next lucky owner.
