The Suburban has accomplished many things over its lustrous history and has provided families a vehicle to get not only a large family, but all their gear to their final destination. The Chevy Suburban is the longest continuous nameplate in auto history, spanning from 1935 model year all the way to present day. With three full size bench seats and plenty of room in the back, 9 people can travel in style and just about conquer anything in its path. This gorgeous, rugged and clean 3DR Suburban comes from the great auto climate of Idaho where it was purchased in 2004 by a local Chevrolet dealer who had the car undergo a three year restoration project from top to bottom, front to back. This was completed in 2009 and was then used as a promotional product for his dealership as well as small trips around the state. The exterior is in near flawless condition for a 42yr old vehicle. Fresh paint, trim pieces, and chrome really make this car pop. Rugged 33in BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires and chrome step bars complete the look for this ride. Four wheel drive system was completely gone thru and new DynaTrack axles were mounted and installed with lockers. Interior retains most factory look other than upgraded front seat, accessory gauge package, aftermarket tachometer and wood steering wheel. The monstrous 454 V8 has been bored to a 468 specs and new Edlebrock carburetor and air cleaner give the engine a crisp look. All new hoses and belts were replaced and the engine provides plenty of power for the demanding individual. With a pull of a switch you can gain some extra power and more importantly some extra noise by opening up the muffler system to get even more of a growl. This well cared for and large value restoration shows well and one that can provide many more enjoyable times and experiences to the next owner.
