The Land Cruiser market is no secret anymore. The popularity of these classics prove the enthusiasts right that claim that these are icons of the vintage 4x4 following. They were originally fashioned after the WWII Willys Jeep. In little time, the Land Cruiser was produced and competing with the Land Rover with worldwide demand. The Land Cruiser is known for being figuratively bullet proof mechanically and being rugged enough for any road or even when there isn't one. This '76 Land Cruiser FJ 40 is a solid southern 4x4 before our purchase recently. It has been maintained and refreshed with stock specifications in mind. This go anywhere machine looks great with a recent repaint in Light Green. It features the original 4.2L 2F inline 6 cylinder engine paired with the 4-speed manual transmission. This FJ also features newer seats, original dash, and an Old Man EMU suspension kit that subtly improves ride quality. Owners manual, shop manuals and extensive service records are included with this FJ. This is a great survivor and with the popularity of well-preserved finds like this the cruiser will only increase in value while being a really fun toy to ride around in.
