Product Details

The first generation of Mustang was built from 1964 through 1973. And to this day remains one of the most sought after models of Mustangs ever built. The design team at Ford was given five goals; The car had to be a 4-seater, has to have front buckets with a floor mounted shifter, be no more than 2500 lbs, cost less than $2500 and have a plenty of power and comforts. Despite similar design, the 1966 variants had seen some body altercations, mostly emblems, trim and bright-work changes with everything else remaining pretty close to the same as the original. The body shows well as it just received a $7,000 paint job from Koenes Auto body. All the chrome, trim, emblems and bright work show well. The black vinyl power top works as it should. The interior is black vinyl seats and black carpet. The drivetrain consists of a 289v8 and an automatic transmission and the car functions as it should and holds the road nice and tight. The mustang has dual exhaust. It rides on BFG Radial T/A tires. Included is a spare tire and car cover. This classic convertible also comes with a folder of receipts that reflect the love that was given to this car. It has power steering and power brakes. There is also an auxiliary cord for the radio tucked away out of sight. When it comes to cruising in a convertible a Mustang is hard to beat, especially one that fires up and drives like it should!
