Highly anticipated and introduced in 2004, the all-new Pontiac GTO was first introduced featuring a 5.7L V8 LS1 engine and was essentially a re-skin of the Holden Monaro throughout. With much more planned for the nametags reintroduction to the market, Pontiac wasted no time beefing up the GTO and upgraded this model the very next year with larger brakes, a flared hood for styling and the same engine that was released that year for the Corvette, the 400 hp 6.0L LS2. Now able to push 60 mph in 5.3 seconds and reach speeds of 102 mph and finish a quarter mile in 14 seconds flat, Pontiac had done right by the name and brought back the GTO to is muscle car roots. Compared to the G35 and RX-8 of its time, this GTO was stomping the competition in performance overall and even held its own in the controllability and comfort department. Featuring all the stock equipment this is a shining example with no worries of what the owner installed or “upgraded” for more performance. The SLP Skip Shift kit is also included, but not yet installed. From the outside, this vehicle looks very stealth with its black exterior, the wheels are stock and the tires are in good shape, the dual chrome tipped exhaust sounds wonderful and with a full professional detail done throughout, this vehicle looks as good as the day it rolled off the assembly line! Within the cockpit you find arguably one of GM's best and most comfortable interiors of its time with the red suede inserts to the door panels and center console, premium red leather spread over all the seats, the black factory floor mats are like new with red trim piping, the steering wheel mounted audio controls and info center controls keeps your focus on the road and overall this vehicle is in excellent condition. Additional stock features include an AM/FM/6CD media center, power windows, mirrors, front seats and keyless entry system, electronic mode select and at the push of a simple button, the traction control can be turned off giving this RWD beast all the power to the tires you could hope for! Included in the sale of this fine ride is its original owner manuals, a car cover and receipts of work completed to keep it as nice as you see it today.
