This car is very close to original in all respects and features the original 221ci 85hp flat-head V8, 3-speed manual transmission, and believed to be just over 58,700 original miles. The body is 100% steel and is believed to have one repaint several years ago but remains very presentable. The current owner has lovingly cared for this '36 for the past 10 years, previous to him, that owner spent a considerably large amount of money restoring and updating the car. He had the engine rebuilt, high speed axles installed, hydraulic brakes installed, a new exhaust, rebuilt shocks, new master cylinder, new wheel bearings, installed seatbelts and turn signals, installed a battery disconnect, new radiator, electric fuel pump, and new brake and clutch pedals. Ford NOS parts were used as much as possible. All of the gauges work, the canvas roof liner is in great condition, there is a period correct driver's side spotlight, the glass is in excellent condition, has newer Firestone tires, a one year old Optima battery, and has crank out front windows and crank out rear windows. This car runs and drives excellent and it comes with the original Ford tool kit with tools, a folder full of receipts, service bulletins, reference books, and multiple sets of keys. This is truly an outstanding driver quality classic '36 Ford 5-Window with the ultra-cool rumble seat that is as close to original as possible.
