Product Details

The Corvette launched its 2nd generation with the birth of the Stingray with a complete redesign barely resembling its predecessors. The Stingray was lighter, had independent suspension, and was aerodynamically tested. The only American cars that could produce similar speed were large, heavy Super Stock optioned Mopars and Super Duty Pontiacs. For the first time, the United States had mass produced a true all-around sports car. This car is being offered for sale for the first time publicly with the current owner and father owning for the last 35 years. The car is a very solid body and frame car that is believed to possess original Ermine White paint without ever being taken apart. The paint looks good, but it is believed to be original so it it is obviously not perfect. It's powered by a NOM 327ci V8 engine and rarely found automatic transmission. Odometer stopped working at some point so True Miles are Unknown on this car. This car is mechanically sound and runs and drives great.
