Product Details

The Bel Air was a full-size automobile that was produced from 1950-1981 by the Chevrolet division of General Motors and molded well to each generation that it was produced in. With only two door hardtop variants being produced for the first three production years, the idea of keeping it a model changed along the way as it became a trim level. Starting 1953, Chevrolet continued the Bel Air name but as a unique body shape or as a premium trim that was applied to many different body styles. This continued until the discontinuation of the highly recognized name tag until 1975, but even then it was still produced in Canada for another six years. This model has become one of the most recognizable models in auto shows and continues to be one of the greats of the earlier years of the automotive. Without any expenses spared, this beautiful example of one of the most recognizable classic cars is nothing short of exceptional. From top to bottom, inside and out, each and every piece has been removed, cleaned or replaced with top of the line parts and clearly shows the craftsmanship completed on it. The body was chemically dipped and sealed to prevent corrosion, the original stainless trim has been polished and restored, the original gauges have been refurbished to keep the originality intact and with a 283 V8 engine which comes from a 1963 model and has been professionally rebuilt, this is a true piece of art which sticks to its roots! On the outside you see the one-of-a-kind custom color combination in outstanding condition and sitting on Smoothie style wheels with wide white wall tires, new front and rear chrome bumpers, new fenders fit to perfection to the rest of the body and hosts a beautifully subtle gold grill. Inside has also seen a mass of upgrades including the burnt orange leather with perforated black leather inserts, vintage Bel Air patterns and headliner keep the nostalgia alive along with the vintage style radio and quarts clock. This also has a custom painted dash done in to match and really set this model apart from the rest! The mechanicals were far from being an afterthought as it hosts power steering, power disc brakes all around, a 2-barrel carburetor, posi-trac rear end and an IDIDIT steering column which all goes to create a comfortable drive to it which was clearly the goal and very noticeable when behind the wheel. An all new fuel system, new wire loom and harness, fully functioning AC system and all new glass all around ensures the next proud owner there will be no surprises after finding their new favorite ride! An exceptional example is almost an understatement and any true Bel Air lover will appreciate the completion and craftsmanship completed!
