This truck features its numbers matching 327 V8 hooked to a 4 speed manual transmission and 4 wheel drive. This c20 was originally put into service by Fred McKenna Chevrolet of McPherson, KS on March 7, 1968. Verbal history states that this is a three owner truck and it has lived in Kansas and Montana until our recent acquisition. The truck was treated to a complete, frame off mechanical and cosmetic restoration and finished in its original color, Red. The entire presentation of the truck appears “AS New”. The interior features new seat material, door panel's, dash, gauges, gauge bezels, floor covering, fuel tank, windshield etc. The exterior is stunning in presentation, the red paint appears as new, the trim, emblems and bright work are excellent. The engine compartment is fully detailed and the undercarriage is fully restored including new suspension and steering bushings all around, and new internal brake parts. Mechanically this truck is fantastic, the fully rebuilt 327 runs very strong, the transmission is tight and shifts smoothly, the 4 wheel drive is ready to take on the toughest situations. The restoration was completed in 2014 and remained in a private collection until now. Classic Chevy trucks are very popular as they are a symbol of ruggedness; toughness and the building of Americas back bone. A highly restored to spec example as the one offered here are hard to find in this condition and a value given the price offered here. Documentation includes the original Protect-o-plate, warranty book, owners manual and restoration receipts.
