The SC 430 was introduced as Lexus' new generation of sport coupes. It was powered by a 4.3 liter V8 which generated 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque producing 0 – 60 times of 5.9 seconds and sped through a quarter mile in just under 14 seconds. To compliment its power is a sport suspension creating amazing stability of its nearly 4000 pound curb weight and powerful brakes bringing the car from 60mph to a halt in only 121 feet. The most defining characteristic of the SC 430 is the retractable hard top that when in the closed position the car is as true of a coupe as a fixed roof car, when the roof is open, the car transforms in to a true roadster offering an awesome open air experience where luxury truly meets performance. The roof completely stows away into the rear compartment giving the car some of the cleanest lines of any modern day cabriolet. This '02 SC 430 is true luxury.
