Volkswagen has been producing the vans since 1950, and over the years it has proved to be a fantastic "adventure seeker." The Type 2 VW vans remain an iconic historic figure today. The Westphaila-Werke Van Conversion Company converted the type 2 VW vans into these awesome campers. These icons are still nostalgic head turners today with a lot of fans whenever they head down the road or pull into a campground. We recently acquired this bus from California, where it resided for many years. Naturally it is extremely solid from the warm dry climate. It features a brand new canvas camper top, new all terrain tires, attached awning, front mounted spare tire, roof rack, and a aftermarket cook stove. The rear seat folds down into a bed, and there is a fold out table as well. There is plenty of room for storage in the many cubbies. We couldn't resist taking this bus for a spin. It ran well and handled as it should. Vans such as these are soaring in value and it is hard to find an example such as this.
