The International Company is no stranger of building things that will last and can take the abuse of hard work and stressing the importance of reliability and performance. The idea of giving the American worker a vehicle that rivaled their farm equipment was a stellar decision from the executives at IHC . Developed and improved upon from the Scout 80's all the way up to the Scout II and Travelall's. This really nice and clean Scout II is well sorted and runs and drives properly and with plenty of power by the V8 and 4 speed manual transmission. A quality paint job was done in 2016 where is as brought down to metal and given a couple coats of Concord Blue with a gloss white top that is removable. The miles are believed to be original. It features a 345 v8 paired with a 4 speed manual transmission. It has a Holley carburetor and MSD coil. It has power steering and power brakes. It also has a period correct 2 speed, 2.2 HP wench. The truck Scout still retains its original smog pump. The classic SUV also features a roof rack. It has Dana 44 axles under it and has 2 extra leaf springs added on it that lifts it about 1.5 inches and rides on 30 inch tires. The clutch was re-done at the time of restoration. This scout shows very well and is ready to go. The IHC Scouts are rising rapidly in the market and with very few making it out of the fields, clean and well sorted ones like this are only seeing a bump up in the global market. We encourage a closer look as for this price, it would be very difficult to replicate.
