Product Details

Launched in 1948, the legendary Ford F-series began as a replacement for the previous car based pickups. For the first time, Ford was building pickups on a dedicated truck platform creating a much better work horse than previously available. Classic trucks are gaining momentum in the collector auto markets. Ford's 1st F-series generation lasted from the 1948-1952 model years, but significantly changed in appearance from year to year making each version unique and pretty rare. While trucks sold well, most were obviously used work heavy work loads leaving few surviving examples in excellent condition. This '51 Ford F1 is a really cool example of a restomod classic pickup originally from Arkansas. A lot was invested bringing this pickup in to an awesome cruiser and show truck. It's powered by a 283ci V8 paired with a 350 Turbo automatic transmission. It also features a professional paint job in Dupont Blue, 550 Holley carburetor, 9” rear end, 3.91 gears, stall convertor, Mallory ignition, gas tank moved to rear, new wood-lined bed, custom stereo, and more! This truck runs and drives great and is an awesome turn-key ready summer cruiser to go along with the great looks.
