Product Details

The 1st generation Camaro's is the car that never goes out of style, and has inspired GM to redesign new Camaro's after these legendary road kings. 1968 was the 2nd year of the Camaro, and is known as the model to own by many collectors. GM launched the Camaro on an all-new platform in the pony car market along with the Pontiac Firebird in a response to the surprisingly high sales of the Ford Mustang. GM hit their own homerun with the “F-body” platform and sales quickly took off. The styling of the 1968 Camaro was very similar to the 1967 design. With the introduction of Astro Ventilation, a fresh-air-inlet system, the side vent windows were deleted. Side marker lights were added on the front and rear fenders which was a government requirement for all 1968 vehicles. It also had a more pointed front grille and divided rear taillights. The front running lights (on non-RS models) were also changed from circular to oval. This '68 Camaro comes out of a collection and is a fresh restoration of a solid California car. This car is a beast mechanically while having incredible curb appeal with a professional paint job of Black with white racing stripes and black interior. It's powered by a 383 “Stroker” V8 engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. It also features a 373 posi, SBC 400 crankshaft, 60cc aluminum heads, 750 Holley dual dual-feed carburetor, roller rockers, roller cam, factory air conditioning, new bumpers, new door handles, all new interior, and more! This is a stud inside, outside, and underneath! It's a lot of fun to drive and an absolute head turner.
