1968 was the 1st year of the 2nd generation of Chevelle's. They were produced with an all-new distinctly sculpted body with tapered front fenders and a rounded beltline. They are known for their classic GM A-body muscle car look with a semi-fastback flowing roofline. This Chevelle has had the same owner for over 20 years. This car had the body work, roll cage, and paint done in 2000.Recently a completely rebuilt 350ci (bored 20 over) V8 out of a 1992 Corvette out of Lingenfelter in Indiana was installed paired with a 350 turbo automatic transmission. This car features many upgrades that include: B & M shift kit, Eagle crankshaft & rods and balanced rotating assembly, 10.3:1 SRP pistons (forged), Motown 220 cylinder heads, Weiand Team G intake manifold, Holly 750 HP carburetor, Solid lifter cam (non-roller 534/540), hardened sprag in transmission between 1st & 1nd gear, 3500 stall TCI torque converter, 12 bolt posi rear-end, Eaton locking differential, 456 gears, race shocks, Doug's headers, 3”exhaust, Flowmaster mufflers, New interior (new foam & vinyl), and an MSD ignition. This is a lot of money invested in making this car a monster on the strip or a great ride around town. This car is in excellent condition.
