This car was completely restored in April of 2011, and sits as a “#1 quality show car”. It drives very well and all the instruments work. To make such a high show quality benchmark there were many upgrades including: the engine was reassembled with new rings & seals, welded in diagonal braces added to the doors, twin chrome racing air cleaners, frame sandblasted & powder painted, shock absorbers rebuilt with silicone rubber seals added, front & rear axle sandblasted and powder coated, rear axle has new sealed ball bearings, new spring bushings, custom molded urethane shock bushings, steering gear rebuilt with Tomkinson re-build kit and new silicone seals, front axle re-bushed, new walnut dash panel, instrument panel re-chromed painted & silk screened, new tie rod ends, new radiator mounted motometer temperature gauge, new rubber interior transmission cover, brake & clutch pedals re-bushed with a new pivot shaft, rebuilt carburetors, new radiator hoses with period clamps, radiator fan upgraded from original metal 2 bladed to MGB plastic 7 bladed, custom fabricated carburetor heat shield to preclude fuel percolation, new fan belt, cast aluminum valve cover, new water pump, rebuilt generator & starter motor, new wiring harness, hidden master electrical shut off switch, new hydraulic actuated stop light switch, new clutch, new Moss Motors leather seats & interior panels, new master cylinder, new wheel cylinders, new brake shoes, gas tank was cleaned & coated internally, new gas lines, new windshield wiper linkage (and new pivot & blades), rebuilt windshield wiper, new battery, new top, new Moss Motors tonneau cover, new tires & tubes, wheels re-painted, turn signals upgraded to mechanical relays, new leather wrapped steering wheel, new door latches, new black plush carpet, all new wheel bearings front & rear, all chrome is in perfect condition, and a new horn.
