The popularity of vintage FJ40's such as this one are in high demand and there seems to be no sign of them slowing down in value. Well cared for and restored ones are becoming almost extinct like the dinosaurs. With the off-road capabilities, fun beach cruiser look and the great investment asset makes the appeal even more enticing for the owners. This well sorted and clean FJ is a recent candidate for a very thorough restoration that started from the top down and front to back. It has been gone thru with meticulous care and love. Proper attention was given to the engine, drivetrain, frame, body and cosmetics. Coming out of the Pacific Northwest where it was cared for properly and not exposed to the changing climate. Inside of the vehicle is in very nice shape with the front bench seat and dual rear jump seats, which are in fantastic condition and is blemish free. Door seals, headliner, cargo door seals and all new windows complete this FJ along with many rubber caskets replaced. New fuel tank was installed along with new fuel lines and other new hoses. Leather dash pad and diamond cut rubber floor kit for front and back. New sun visors were replaced along with working wipers and gauges seem to work properly minus the odometer. Exterior is painted in Coronado Beige and received a full repaint a few years ago. Brand new Mud Claw tires are mounted on the period correct steel wheels with chrome center caps. Almost all new hardware, badges and lenses were added to give this cruiser the fresh and updated look. All new exhaust with rebuilt engine and transmission were mounted and installed properly. Finishing off is four new ProComp struts on each corner and appears to be new or refurbished leaf springs.
