The famous GTO line started as a trim option for the Pontiac LeMans in 1964. John Delorean helped break the mold in General Motors to bring the speed to the A-body platform. The GTO is widely considered the first muscle car that started the trend for all of Detroit, and high sales eventually forced them to launch the GTO as its own model line in 1966. After all, how would you not want to continue what we essentially have sitting here? I contend there really isn't anything cooler than a GM A-body with the sun shining the top down and the 4-speed manual waiting for your command on how to use the rebuilt 400ci V8 engine. This car features a working power convertible top, original wheels, new red line tires, new exhaust, new starter, new radiator, and the original radio. This is a straight, solid car that is perfect for those sunny days to cruise with a good strong engine plus enough seating for the family. This is top down muscle that is a must have for the garage.
