Longer, lower, and sleeker were describing the “forward look” redesigns for the Chrysler models and in 1957 they even used a promotional slogan of “Suddenly it's 1960”. The Belvedere was the top trim model with a full assortment of features available at the time. This '57 Belvedere Convertible is a really cool and rarely found model with amazing nostalgic style from American automotive's golden age. It's hard to know where to start with the bold lines and fins that look even more stylish with the top down on a convertible. What immediately grabbed my attention is the push-button automatic transmission. It's pretty much the coolest way to shift gears. It's powered by a 318ci V8 engine. It also features a power convertible top, original dash, original radio, electric fuel pump, white wall tires, new radiator core, new brakes and bench seats. This car is a rare model with tremendous style. It is a good driving car that can be enjoyed as is, or with some investment could bring up to a stunning show car. The car is just really cool from any angle in the classic Canary Yellow factory color.
