Product Details

This ground up build, using a true convertible body from Kansas, took several years to complete. When the project was started there was no rust in the floors or trunk. The car was chopped 1 3/4” and it was done right and shows well. It has resulted in a great driving vehicle with tons of eye appeal. The car was meticulously put together by an enthusiast who owned a body shop and paid attention to every bit of detail when building this cruiser. The car was given a new GM crate 350 v8 rated at 300hp mated to a GM 350 automatic transmission. The power is fed to a rebuilt 8 inch Ford Granada 300 rear end. The car is dressed in black ( PPG Delton dcc 9300) and it shows very well. All the trim was restored to a “show” level finish. The suspension consists of a Weedetr Mustang front end, Weedetr rear leaf springs, Weedetr sway bar (front and rear), ECI front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. It has power steering and power brakes. The car rides on chrome wheels. Over $10,000 was spent on a custom interior by Appleton interiors, plus the convertible top and inside the trunk. The gauges are VDO .
