Product Details

Clearly it looks great with the flames and blue paint as lead sleds have to have a certain look and this one knocks that out of the park. It originally came from Washington state and has been under the watchful care of the 3rd and current owner since 1994. The car was restored in Oregon to its current look and custom modifications include molding of the body panels to the body, frenched headlights, decked trunk with electric opener, and the hood was shaved and center filled. Chassis modifications consist of a '68 Thunderbird front and rear sub-frames and the rear floor pans modified to accept the Thunderbird suspension. Under the hood is a 1968 429ci Thunderjet V8 with '74 Lincoln heads, an Offenhauser manifold, Holly valve covers and air cleaner, and Chevrolet cross flow radiator set upright. Mated to the 429 is a Ford C6 automatic with a Ford 9” rear-end. There is also a '76 Oldsmobile gas tank. The interior features '65 Cadillac seats with blue and white naugahide. The original restored gauges and radio are present and converted to 12 volt. There is also a AM/FM Cassette player, a C/B, A/C (not currently operating), cruise control, power steering, power brakes, power windows, tilt and telescopic steering column, and GM seat belts with shoulder harnesses. The paint and chrome shines and shows very well and this would be a perfect car to drive into the local cruise-in. Guaranteed you'll be the only one there with a hot rod this cool.
