The Plymouth Prowler had to be officially called a Chrysler Prowler in 2001 & 2002 after the Plymouth marque was discontinued. The design of the Prowler was the result of Chrysler engineers given free rein to create whatever they wanted in a hot rod type vehicle. Using retro styling and Indy-racing type open front wheels the Prowler became one the most bold designs of an American production car in decades. The car is a front engine, rear-wheel drive car with the transmission in the rear of the vehicle giving the car a desirable 50/50 weight distribution. Like most exotic cars, this really cool retro design doesn't allow for much trunk space. Chrysler dealers offered a trailer as a $5,000 option. The trailers resemble the back end of the Prowler with smaller versions of the 5-spoke wheels and matching factory paint to the car. This is an excellent low mileage version of the Prowler in near pristine condition. This car has always been well maintained and stored inside. This top down modern street rod offers a one of a kind motoring experience. It is powered by the original 3.5L V6 with a powerful aluminum block paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. This is a low mileage stock beauty that is an awesome turn-key ready cruiser for those perfect weather days. These cars are also future classics with very unique styling and low production numbers.
