The big body Cadillac convertibles of the 60's are some of the most iconic body styles that were designed and brought to market. The massive rear ends, fins, room for 6 and a smooth ride that was unmatched of the era. The DeVille is a name that has a deep history to the Cadillac brand and one that is iconic as ever. In 1967 the Deville's were extensively restyled. Prominent styling features were given a powerful frontal appearance with forward-leaning front end, long, sculptured body lines, and redefined rear fenders that had more than just a hint of tail fins in them. The full-width, forward-thrusted "eggcrate" grille was flanked by dual stacked headlights for the third consecutive year. The squarer cornered grille insert had blades that seemed to emphasize its vertical members and it appeared both above the bumper and through a horizontal slot cut into it. Rectangular parking lamps were built into the outer edges of the grille. Rear end styling revisions were highlighted by metal divided tail lamps and a painted lower bumper section. This stately looking car is in extremely nice shape and runs and drives nicely. Vehicle was built in the 3rd week of May of 1967 out of the Detroit assembly plant in Michigan. Optioned in the stunning Pincrest Green exterior paint and matched up with the white convertible top and green leather interior. Vehicle was optioned from the factory with electric power front seat, soft ray glass, auto climate control and front fender turn signal indicators. The Deville's were jam packed with extra features such as; power convertible top, power windows, power steering, white wall tires with hubcaps with Cadillac crest, rear map lights, and leather seats. This car is a joy to drive with the top down as you pack it with some close friends and go for a cruise. The car floats on the suspension and the powerful 429 V8 with 340HP has plenty of muscle to get you up to highway speeds or enjoying the country roads. Vehicle was delivered new on 6-8-67 out of Mell Gorch Cadillac in Utica, NY. The car retains all original owners manuals, protect-o-plate, spare tire, jack, two sets of keys, convertible top boot cover and clean title. With big blockbuster movies that highlight the 60's and all the famous people that drove these vehicles, it is no surprise that these cars have seen great demand in the USA and overseas. With only 18,200 produced the survivability of these is very limited and nice period correct examples such as this one are very hard to find along with the fine pedigree and originality that this car offers.
