THIS. . . is a 2000 Plymouth Prowler, finished in Prowler Black with a gray interior. Factory equipment includes 17-inch front, and 20-inch rear wheels, a removable soft top, power mirrors, leather upholstery, an Autostick shifter, air conditioning, and cruise control. Modifications reported by the seller are limited to a front bumper delete and a Pioneer head unit. Launched unexpectedly for the 1997 model year, the Plymouth Prowler channeled the spirit of 1930s hot rods with a head-turning design that wouldn't look out of place in a Hot Wheels catalog. It was introduced as a Plymouth and given to Chrysler after the Plymouth brand was discontinued. 11,702 units were assembled mainly by hand at the Conner Avenue plant in Detroit, including 3,170 Chrysler-badged models. Production ended in 2002 and the Prowler was not replaced. Power comes from an "EGG" 3. 5-liter V6, rated at 253 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
