Our belief is that the 1973 Model MGB is the best of everything that the B series offered. It has the ever so timeless steel bumper design and the most overall change from the first model B in 1962. This particular model is the done in the classic “British Racing Green” and still shows extremely well nearly 20 years after restoration. These particular cars replaced the MGA and were a very modern design. Using monocoque construction vs. the body-on-frame design. Furthermore, making the B a true 2-seat set-up it was able to achieve quite a bit more leg and luggage room even thought the over all design was several inches shorter. The engine displacement was also increased making 0-60 times almost five seconds faster than the previous A model. This particular car that we are very excited to offer has been owned by the same family since 1982 and has been lovingly cared for and maintained. The car was re-painted, mechanicals have been gone through, interior, suspension and brakes have all been kept up and is a wonderful starting, running and braking MG. This car is ready for any British car club meet or tour and would make a great addition to any collection.
