This truck features an all steel body with original panels, masterfully executed 4X4 conversion, and powder coated original chassis. This truck is powered by a professionally prepared Chevy 350 with 2.02 Heads, Edlebrock intake manifold, Edelbrock carburetor, MSD ignition, aluminum radiator, March pulleys, Headman headers, 700R automatic transmission, Vintage air conditioning, power seats, power steering and power brakes. The condition of this 61 Apache is outstanding in all areas. The restoration was performed over a 12 year span and done to the highest quality. The foundation of the restoration and modification was a high quality, rust free example that possessed an outstanding core structure to work off of. The chassis was near perfect prior to the restoration and was subsequently cleaned up and immediately powder coated. The undercarriage of this truck is truly amazing, the panel fit and finish is of the highest quality and the exterior paint is amazing. The detail areas of the paint and body are excellent as well as the door jams, hinges, and interior panels have are all restored to the highest standard. The interior of this Apache is stunning. The dash has been fitted with new Dolphin Gauges, the seating has been upgraded to full power Silverado seats, the steering wheel and column have been upgraded to tilt etc. The interior of the vehicle, side walls, roof and floors are finished to the same high standard as the rest of the vehicle and the rear flooring has been highly refinished in a hard wood fastened with stainless hardware. The interior is excellent in all regards. Mechanically, this vehicle was professionally refurbished and all major pieces have been upgraded. The 350 engine has been professionally prepared and offers plenty of power and grunt and the 700R4 transmission accurately applies this power through the upgraded more Chevy Blazer transfer case and heavy-duty 3.73 rear end. The suspension features coil over shocks, coil rear springs, front disc brakes, Ladder Bars, and extensive use of high quality stainless and aluminum hardware. Mechanically, the vehicle is in great condition, drives and performs excellent. The vintage truck market is on fire as of late and demand now comes from all 4 corners of the globe.
