This drop top classic was sold new on July 15, 1968 at the Rampy Chevrolet Inc. dealership in Ann Arbor MI. The buyer traded in a 1965 Mustang towards the Camaro. Included in the sale of this car is the original sales sheet that lays all of this out. Extra accessories that were purchased above the base price include a power glide transmission, power steering, tinted glass, style trim group, center counsel, AM/FM radio and more. This car has been appreciating in value since day one and will continue to do so. The purchase price was a grand total of $3,426.55. This car also has the original broadcast sheet, original sales/dealer brochure, paint code sheet, spare tire, jack and tools, services manuals, owner's manual and restoration manuals. In 2010 the car was completely stripped down to bare metal and received a complete restoration. The car was repainted in the original “Grotto Blue” with a very small amount of metallic flake added. The car received new rubber seals at this point. The car was very solid at this time and did not receive any “patch panels” and remains all factory steel. Brand new chrome bumpers were purchased and installed at this time. The engine is a numbers matching 327 v8 mated to an automatic transmission. The black leather interior remains in excellent condition and looks great. The Camaro rides on like new Road Hugger Radial GT tires mounted on 14 American Racing wheels. This car has all of the proper requirements to be any collectors dream and is a must consider for any enthusiast. This Camaro is “turn key” and ready to go. It runs and handles as it should. Consider this investment piece with confidence.
